Things from me (and someone else) to THINK about
“When you accept the challenge to be more tomorrow than you are today, what is most challenging today will be less important than how it can grow you into your future.”
“Challenges are what make life interesting and overcoming them is what makes life meaningful.” – Joshua J. Marine
A story to BE moved by
Once upon a time, in a small village, there was a man who had a beautiful garden full of vibrant flowers and abundant fruit trees. The villagers admired his garden and wondered how he could maintain such a paradise.
One day, a curious young boy asked the gardener, “How did you create this beautiful garden?”
The gardener replied, “It wasn’t always like this. When I first started, the soil was rocky and hard, and the weeds grew wild. I had to remove the rocks, pull the weeds, and cultivate the soil before I could plant my seeds.”
The boy was amazed and asked, “But why go through all this trouble?”
The gardener smiled and said, “I knew that beneath the surface lay the potential for beauty and abundance. I embraced the challenges, and with each obstacle I overcame, my garden grew stronger and more bountiful.”
The boy left the garden with a newfound understanding that challenges in life, like the rocks and weeds in the garden, can be opportunities for growth and transformation.
