Success Begins on Sunday!

Here’s a leadershipology to help you start the week right on Sunday night. Here’s some things to THINK about, a story to BE moved by and something you can DO right now.

Things from me (and someone else) to THINK about

“Your attitude is the hinge upon which the door of your destiny swings.”

“People may hear your words, but they feel your attitude.” – John Maxwell

A story to BE moved by

Ultimately, in life, we become what we think about. Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “A man is what he thinks about all day long.” The Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius put it this way: “A man’s life is what his thoughts make of it.” In Proverbs 23:7: “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.”

One Sunday afternoon, a cranky grandfather was visiting his family. As he lay down to take a nap, his grandson decided to have a little fun by putting Limburger cheese on Grandfather’s mustache. Soon, grandpa awoke and charged out of the bedroom saying, “This room stinks.”

Through the house he went, finding every room smelling the same. Desperately he made his way outside only to find that “The whole world stinks!”

So it is when we fill our minds with negativity. Your perspective on everything you encounter and everybody you meet is determined by how you think.

Something to DO right now

Your attitude is determined by your thinking. To have a better attitude about anything, you have to think better about it first.

What is one thing you can start thinking better about right now?
